THE FABRIC OF UZBEKISTAN
The centuries of history resonate throughout the villages, countryside, along the ancient silk route and into the cities. It is seen in the architecture of massive monuments and the artful crafts of weaving, needlework, painting, pottery and even in the artful presentation of foods in the market places. It cannot be capured in one picture or one experience. A common deminator in all is the welcoming and friendliness of the people.
Uzbekistan cannot be confused with "part of Russia" or other influences. It stands alone with its own government and economic growth.
